VSE Corporation provides aftermarket aviation, fleet, and federal and defense services, making money through parts supply and distribution, supply chain solutions, and component and engine accessory maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for aviation customers.
The profit model is built on supplying aftermarket aviation parts plus performing higher value maintenance and overhaul work, so results track the level and mix of ongoing aircraft and engine support needs.
Business quality (Mixed): Clear segment-based business model focused on parts supply and MRO services, but the provided segment revenue figures do not reconcile cleanly with consolidated revenue, which makes cross-segment comparisons harder for retail investors.
